Take an in depth look at forces and ground reaction that is created in your golf swing. We break it down in 3 areas…
HOW YOU CREATE STABILITY
When a golfer has firm traction between their feet and the ground, the horizontal force allows the golfer to push in one direction to move in the opposite direction. Old school term for this would be sway or weight shift.
HOW YOU CREATE POWER
The vertical aspect of force is always affected by the constant acceleration of gravity. Vertical force changes throughout the golf swing as a result of gravity and total acceleration.
Mass x Acceleration= Force
HOW YOU SWING THE CLUB
When you combine horizontal and vertical forces you create a rotation force, or torque. Due to the rotational movement of the golf swing the ability to produce torque at the feet for transfer is essential for greater club speed.
